This headboard is hand woven using sisal fibre, a plant that is indigenous to the Andes. The final product is the result of age old crafts skills by local women who can work from home allowing them to also maintain their families.They use four threads and knit stitch in order to produce a vegetable mesh. To get rid of any wrinkles that may appear we recommend disassembling the cushions and using a steam iron with a cotton cloth between.To keep clean all that’s required is to wipe with a damp cloth. Then just let dry with a steam iron.
