MATERIAL
Magnolia. This hanger is made with the flower of the magnolia, when it closes in on itself to create the fruit that protects the seeds within.
CRAFT TECHNIQUE
When the seeds of the magnolia mature and take on the vibrant red colour that characterises them the fruit opens and birds eat them. Until eventually the fruit drops to the ground. That’s when our craftsmen collect them and embark on and age-old tradition that has been practised for hundreds of years: after perforating the base a fastening system to the wall is added. Then it’s left out to dry: the sun and the heat complete the process.It all starts when the magnolia flower closes to form the fruit. This fruit protects the seeds inside, so that they develop calmly, without any kind of rush or external aggression.
AFTER CARE & CLEANING
We recommend the use of a dry cloth.
