MATERIAL
Hand blown recycled glass. Glass only lets light pass through. However, when glass is recycled, it allows to illuminate the future, pointing the way. It reveals world where ethics and aesthetics go hand in hand; where ecological awareness and design make for a more beautiful world in all senses of the word.
CRAFT TECHNIQUE
Once selected and cleaned it is ground down and becomes a thick dust like material, cullet. This ground cullet is then subjected to very high temperatures in an oven, it is fused with quartz sand, sodium hydroxide and limestone to create a new glass material that has exactly the same properties as that glass obtained directly from the extraction of raw materials.

Handwash with a non-abrasive soap.
