Walnut wood(Juglans regia)

One of the most highly valued woods in cabinetmaking. Synonymous with quality, durable and easy to work with; elegant due to its unmistakable grain. Perfection: that is the best definition we can come up with for this noble material.

Time, time. Time!

This is the common denominator of walnut wood.
It takes more than 50 years to reach a diameter of 30 cm, the minimum established for being able to work it. It is hard, very hard, and sawing it is difficult and expensive, although afterwards it is generous in the refinement of the piece. And resistant, very resistant; almost eternal designer pieces. Walnut wood resists changes in temperature and humidity. Perhaps because in the wild its roots produce negative vegetal alleopathy, that is, they inhibit the growth of other plants in their environment to avoid competition. Walnut wood is a born fighter.

An eternal cycle. The resistance of walnut wood also, one day, comes to an end. And then, each piece of Let’s Pause walnut returns to the roots of the Earth.

This is only possible because we do not apply any artificial treatment to our products. Because our essence is our commitment to the Earth and to the future of people.
