The Rengo pendant lamp takes its name because it embodies the concept of union and collaboration that we aim to convey. Inspired by the Japanese word “rengo,” meaning “union” or “alliance,” we pay homage to the beauty that arises from combining traditional handcrafted techniques, such as manual loom weaving and crochet, to create a unique and sophisticated piece. This connection is not only between techniques but also between people and the environment, symbolizing the fusion of traditions and the creation of something natural and meaningful.
Made from natural fique without artificial treatments, Rengo blends tradition with modern design. Available in black, copper, or white tones, its unique and sophisticated aesthetic is complemented by warm, even light, ideal for creating cozy atmospheres and illuminating tables, corners, or spacious areas. Each lamp is a singular piece that reflects a commitment to sustainability, nature, and artisanal quality, merging centuries of tradition with contemporary innovation.
Each shade comes with a 2.5-meter black textile cord, a black socket, and a black aluminum ceiling canopy for installation.

Description
MATERIAL
Fique (Furcraea andina). Growing freely in rosettes shaped clusters of up to 100 leaves, generally ending in a sharp needle like point. A succulent plant made of fleshly stalks, functional in its resistance to drought and very hardy with a beautiful range of colours in the raw.
CRAFT TECHNIQUE
Our craftswomen weave the fique fibre yarn using different age-old techniques learned from their masters. Knowing hands with extraordinary dexterity that create unique collections, where knot by knot the elegant pieces emerge and entire families are supported through their work.

AFTER CARE & CLEANING
For day to day cleaning all that’s needed is a damp cloth to wipe. Then just let dry with a steam iron.
We recommend the use of a 2,700k E27 led bulb.
