We create handcrafted furniture using its raw, unpeeled branches, sustainable and natural: designer armchairs, an organic inspired bench, decorative mirrors and a side table brimming with character. The soul of oleander wood: Resilience and beauty
Oleander is a legendary Mediterranean shrub, whose name is inspired by the goddess Daphne from Greek mythology. It is capable of surviving adverse conditions and coming back to life even after extreme droughts. In the hands of our artisans its branches are pliable and malleable, which inspired us to create an entire collection of handcrafted oleander wood furniture, that combines function and beauty. Lightweight and sustainable furniture that integrates seamlessly with any setting.
Farfalla armchairs: Two iconic pieces of furniture that combine comfort and individuality
Curved lines and rounded forms characterise the Farfalla Raw and Farfalla Natural armchairs. The shape recalls the wings of a butterfly (farfalla in Italian) adding a unique feature to any room. The Bella mirror displays its beauty through its exposed joints and irregular shape. This piece reflects organic authenticity, in which its natural imperfections become a unique decorative element. Kame table and bench: Simple patterns, imperfect beauty
The Kame table and the Kame bench reimagine classic furniture pieces and show us once again the beauty of imperfection: the nails that join the branches together are exposed, arranged within a geometric yet irregular pattern, that recalls a tortoise shell (Kame in Japanese). Their warm looks make them ideal for a wabi-sabi style interior décor that feels familiar and inviting.
The Adelfa furniture pieces by Let’s Pause are extraordinary design objects: they are sustainable, natural and organic, which means that they will always be returned to the Earth. We don’t use any artificial treatments. At the end of their useful life these pieces are returned to Mother Nature to once again become part of the planet’s ecosystem.
