“Come into the Light”: Let’s Pause & Vicolo Via Mameli illuminate Milan with “dolce lentezza”

Let’s Pause collaborates with Milan-based concept store Vicolo Via Mameli during Milan Design Week 2026. Together they present “Come into the Light,” an installation of lighting pieces and linens that invites calm and the discovery of natural luxury – a creative dialogue born from a shared love of nature, craftsmanship, and a slower way of living.

The installation, on view from April 16 to 26 at Vicolo Via Mameli, unfolds as an intimate journey through light. Both brands share a common sensibility: valuing time, honoring artisanal processes, and cultivating a deep connection to natural materials and organic textures.

Inspired by the idea of dolce lentezza – a gentle, unhurried approach to life – Let’s Pause and Vicolo Via Mameli embrace a way of creating rooted in calm, observation, and craftsmanship passed down through generations.

Volumes That Shape Light

The installation features a curated selection of Lets Pause lighting pieces created through natural upcycling processes. The brand gathers organic elements that have completed their life cycle in nature and transforms them into contemporary design objects through the skilled hands of master artisans.

The Coccola collection takes center stage. These lamps are woven from hand-spun fique fiber on a manual loom built by artisan Albeiro Camargo, reviving an ancestral technique of the Guane people, his Indigenous ancestors. This cordless, portable table lamp with a rechargeable LED bulb brings light anywhere, creating intimate, warm, and enveloping atmospheres.

Other iconic pieces are also featured, including the new Equilibri collection—crafted from slender, resilient Mediterranean palm sheaths—the Couro Pod lamp in vegan leather, and the Bozzolo pendant lamp, inspired by a silkworm cocoon.

Material in Its Essential State

The Gemma, Molaris, and Olivo wall hooks complete the presentation, integrated into a fascinating and mysterious exhibition space where each piece originates from natural elements left behind and reimagined as contemporary design and luxury. True to its philosophy, Let’s Pause respects the organic nature of materials, avoiding chemicals or artificial processes in production.

Italian Linen and the Art of Slow Living

This year, Vicolo Via Mameli is proud to spotlight its V.VM 100% Italian linen collection – timeless, natural linens designed and crafted in Italy. The installation will also showcase the shop’s wider selection of home goods: hand-poured beeswax candles, home candles with six original fragrances, terracotta pieces, Italian ceramics, and a thoughtfully curated assortment of everyday essentials, each chosen for its beauty, function, and story.

Visitors are invited to experience the atmosphere of the Milan shop, a haven for those who appreciate simplicity, authenticity, and the art of slow living.

Gathering at Via Goffredo Mameli, 46

The official opening will take place on Thursday, April 16, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM, with a cocktail reception attended by both brand teams, along with press and professionals from the fields of interior design, architecture, and lighting.
