Walnut wood(Juglans regia)

One of the most appreciated timbers by joiners. Synonymous with quality and resilience, easy to work; with its unmistakable elegant grain. Perfection: that’s the only word for this extraordinary high quality material.

Time, time, Time!

This is precisely what all walnut wood shares.
It takes 50 years to reach a diameter of 30cm, the minimum established for being worked. It’s hard, really hard in fact, sawing it can be difficult although it’s worth it afterwards for the finesse of the resulting piece. And it’s hard wearing, extremely so; pieces that will last and last. Walnut wood is highly resistant to temperature swings and humidity. Perhaps because in the wild its roots produce negative plant allelopathy, a term that means it prevents others plant from competing with it. Walnut is a natural born survivor.

An eternal cycle. The strength of walnut too, one day, comes to an end. And then, each piece of Let’s Pause walnut, returns to the roots of the Earth.

THIS IS ONLY POSSIBLE BECAUSE WE DO NOT APPLY ANY ARTIFICIAL TREATMENT TO OUR PRODUCTS. BECAUSE OUR ESSENCE IS THE COMMITMENT TO THE EARTH, AND TO THE ENVIRONMENT.
