Description

MATERIAL

Walnut wood (Juglans regia). One of the most appreciated timbers by joiners. Synonymous with quality and resilience, easy to work; with its unmistakable elegant grain. Perfection: that’s the only word for this extraordinary high quality material. Iron(Ferrum). Extremely hard and dense. Magnetic. Iron attracts our gaze thanks to the quality and elegance it lends the pieces made from it. Fe, its periodic table symbol, represents this material, the pieces made with it are an expression of honesty, a magical quality that will be ever present throughout their lives.

CRAFT TECHNIQUE

Time isprecisely what all walnut wood shares. It takes 50 years to reach a diameter of 30cm, the minimum established for being worked. It’s hard, really hard in fact, sawing it can be difficult although it’s worth it afterwards for the finesse of the resulting piece. And it’s hard wearing, extremely so; pieces that will last and last. Walnut wood is highly resistant to temperature swings and humidity. Perhaps because in the wild its roots produce negative plant allelopathy, a term that means it prevents others plant from competing with it. Walnut is a natural born survivor. Iron is the fourth most abundant material found under the earth’s crust. We find it in nature formed by numerous fused together minerals. However the greatest mass of iron is to be found at the Earth’s core, some 70% of its total composition. That’s the reason why sculptures and other decorative objects made from it give off a special energy, an invisible umbilical cord that links back to the origins of life.

AFTER CARE & CLEANING

We recommend the use of a dry cloth. In the event that the seat is stained, it can be scrubbed with mild soap and water and ensure that it dries well. To clean any stain on the wood, you can apply a cloth with ammonia.

LET’S LOVE GIFT

For each purchase made online you will receive an amazing heart-shaped seed of the Cardiospermum halicacabum plant. Once planted, it will produce a creeper of thick green vines with a delicate white flower and paper like pods. Within the pods, once dried, you will find 3 seeds and their heart shaped motiv, which can be given to all those who love Nature. Let’s Love.
