Measuring 42 cm in diameter and 58 cm in height, NUS Pendant M offers balanced proportions that make it suitable for dining rooms, living spaces, bedrooms and distinctive hospitality interiors. Its sculptural presence brings warmth and natural sophistication without losing the visual lightness of the woven shade.
Materials
The lampshade is crafted from natural fique fibre (Furcraea andina), obtained from a resilient succulent plant with long, fleshy leaves arranged in large rosettes. These leaves provide a strong and flexible vegetable fibre, particularly suited to traditional weaving techniques.
At Let’s Pause, we celebrate the beauty of natural materials and their transformation through skilled craftsmanship. Fique retains its organic texture and subtle irregularities, allowing each lamp to preserve the unique qualities of the original plant fibre.

Artisanal Technique
The NUS M fique crochet pendant lamp is made entirely through a traditional hand-crocheting process. Skilled artisans work each vegetable thread stitch by stitch, creating a light and flexible mesh that combines strength with delicate craftsmanship.
The weaving process requires time, patience and precision. Each stitch becomes part of an organic surface that retains the subtle variations of handmade work, giving every NUS lamp its own distinctive character.
The woven shade is gently held by an aluminium frame in a matching tone. From this supporting structure, the fibre falls naturally like a skirt, creating the characteristic flowing shape of the collection.
When illuminated, the open crochet pattern projects soft shadows and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. This delicate lighting effect is particularly suitable for dining tables, intimate living areas and carefully designed residential or hospitality interiors.
Each NUS Pendant M includes a 2.5-metre black textile cable, black lamp holder and black aluminium ceiling canopy for installation.

Care and Cleaning
Gently wipe the woven fique surface with a slightly damp cloth and allow it to dry completely. Wrinkles caused during transport can be carefully treated with steam, following the product’s recommended care instructions and keeping electrical components dry.
