Materials
The defining material of NUS Pendant S is natural fique fibre (Furcraea andina), obtained from a resilient succulent plant that grows in large rosettes of long, fleshy leaves. These leaves provide a strong yet flexible vegetable fibre, valued for its authentic textures and naturally varied tones.

Artisanal Technique
The NUS Pendant S small crochet pendant light is carefully made by hand using traditional crochet techniques. A single thread and a succession of stitches are enough to create a flexible mesh structure that recalls the soft movement of a naturally draped fabric.
Our skilled women artisans work each piece individually, applying knowledge passed down through generations. The precision of their stitches reflects the care, patience and human craftsmanship involved in every lamp.
The crocheted shade is delicately supported by a tone-matched aluminium frame, allowing the woven surface to fall naturally like a skirt and creating the distinctive organic silhouette of the NUS collection.
Its open structure gently diffuses the light, creating subtle shadow patterns that transform the atmosphere of bedrooms, reading areas and intimate living spaces.
Each lamp includes a 2.5-metre black textile cable, black lamp holder and black aluminium ceiling canopy for installation.
