Handcrafted by artisan Albeiro Camargo using the ancestral Guane weaving technique, Coccola stands out for its delicate natural fibre structure and distinctive details. The Coccola handwoven table lamp is crafted by skilled artisan Albeiro Camargo, who works with natural fique fibres using ancestral weaving techniques learned from his masters. With an exceptional understanding of his materials, he creates each piece knot by knot on a simple manual loom that he built himself, following the traditional Guane weaving technique.
Its organic shape recalls the protective form of a silkworm cocoon, while the flexible woven surface allows light to pass gently through the fibres. A delicate central seam, crafted like a decorative border, enhances the lamp’s sculptural silhouette and reveals the attention to detail involved in its creation.
Coccola is equipped with a rechargeable LED bulb offering three brightness levels, making it easy to adjust the lighting according to the desired atmosphere.
