Let’s Pause showcased its latest models of plant-based and natural fiber lamps at the new edition of the prestigious interior design fair Maison & Objet. Held from January 16 to 20 in Paris, it was the perfect setting to present our new creations, all born from a love for nature, craftsmanship, and sustainable upcycling.
The Conti lamp is much more than a luminaire; it is a sculptural masterpiece of 17 pieces crafted from wild olive roots, sustainably reclaimed and hand-turned. Designed like a beaded necklace, it allows for different, personalized configurations. Each setup tells a unique story where light and wood unite to create a warm and meaningful ambiance.
The Coccola lamp is a subtle and delicate handmade piece crafted from natural fique fiber by our artisan Albeiro Camargo. Its organic shape is inspired by silkworm cocoons. Its warm and welcoming light creates a sense of peace and comfort that embraces, envelops, and pampers us, no matter our mood (hence its name: Coccola means “pampering” in Italian).
Additionally, the Coccola lamp is portable and sustainable, as it is cordless and features a rechargeable LED bulb. This makes it delightfully versatile!
The Bozzolo suspension lamp pays tribute to the ancestral techniques of the Guane Indigenous people of Colombia, preserved today by our artisan Albeiro Camargo. It is woven from natural fique fiber, and its shape and texture resemble a bird’s or a silkworm cocoon (Bozzolo in Italian). Available in two sizes, it is ideal for intimate corners such as bedside tables or entryways, where its soft and enveloping light creates a sense of calm and sophistication.
Finally, Maison & Objet saw the international debut of the Rengo ceiling lamp: a piece that combines weaving done on a manual loom with crochet techniques to create a luminaire with a natural and elegant design. Its color combinations—copper, black, and white—enhance the texture of fique and provide ambient lighting that transforms dining tables and relaxation areas into cozy spaces.
At this edition of Maison & Objet, we aimed to share our commitment to sustainable design and the beauty of handmade creations with the world. Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and felt inspired by our new creations.
